This is the start of a new era whereby, Faith believes, if you are talented and have the will to see things through, even with limited resources you can produce your own creative audio and visual contents, and gain fans.

‘Simple Living’ is born out of such efforts. We hope to launch it on line at www.rebirth.sg from the 1st of March and sold at Sccube: Centrepoint: #03-19A.

The talents on board are gifted individuals with the heart to touch, inspire and encourage. We do things a little different, a little more daring and give you freedom to choose.

The song was inspired by one of Mylene Farmer’s animation video ‘Cest une belle journee ‘.The ‘Little Prince’ was created(by Pixin our doll maker), to be a companion to a lonely girl. They enjoy all the simple things in their ‘Wonderland’, full of magical surprises and beauty... In the music video to come, you will get to see the full story. This exciting video will be released in June 2008.

On the audio side, I was fortunate to have the privilege to work with Amir Masoh, our multi-talented musician. During that time, I had wanted to do one version for this song... but somehow, we did 4! 

Amir did a lot of the recording, and editing as well. Even though he didn’t quite understand the lyrics in mandarin, I had fun out of translating them to him in english.

There were other new arrangers that I tried working with. And amongst them, Chern Yang made one version that got me excited about. And I decided to include the ‘Generic Electronica’ version in the single to share it with you. A distinct style. An enjoyable piece.

The other person I must thank is Joel C. for the mixing and mastering. I know I am a bit of a perfectionist. But hey! It’s for the good of all. Thanks for your patience and willingness to accommodate.

The Visual & Packaging

And the man behind the whole packaging design of the ‘Single’ is... Mr Choo Chinnian!

Choo is very helpful, focused, patient, and efficient. I had no delays from him. It’s all good. Perfect to work with.

And guess what? We met each other through My Space!

Soon after, Choo brought Ann Gee into our team, a very imaginative illustrator. I enjoy her and her illustrations a lot, and it goes well with the whole concept. She was the one who made me buck up on my image when I go out casually... she said that I should always dress up!

To me, it’s important to work with a tight, like-minded team. To be able inspire each other and face up to our challenges in any difficult process, working with our capacities.
We all learn to be more flexible, keeping the final result in our minds. Not forgetting the fun too!

And with the photography, we have a wonderful team as well. We are all inter-linked just like a web.
